Meet Mr. Drew

'The Financial Literacy Guy'

Founder of ELFLP

Andrew Scott, founder of An Early Learning Financial Literacy Program, is the youth's favorite personal financial educator. He is the author a children's book series, The Financial Literacy Guy's ABC Book of Get Good with Money (a New York Times Bestseller), The One Week Budget, and the Live Richer Challenge series. She has also authored a children's book, Happy Birthday Mali More.

Through her company, ‘The Budgetnista’, Tiffany has created a financial movement that has helped over one million women worldwide completely transform the way they think about their finances. The women that participate in this global ‘Live Richer Movement’ call themselves Dream Catchers. Since inception, the Dream Catchers have collectively saved more than $250 million dollars and paid off over $200 million dollars in debt.

Tiffany credits her experience as a preschool teacher for ten years in Newark, NJ for laying the foundation for the core mission of ‘The Budgetnista’… education.

In 2019, Tiffany transformed her commitment to education into legislation when she partnered with Assemblywoman Angela V. McKnight to write a bill that later became Law A1414 (The Budgetnista Law). This milestone legislation made it mandatory for financial education to be taught in all middle schools in the state of New Jersey.

Tiffany has created countless resources for her global audience and continues to teach financial courses both online and in-person. The Live Richer Academy is her online platform where tens of thousands of students have enrolled to learn how to better manage their money and transform their financial lives.

Additionally, Tiffany blogs regularly about personal finance on The Budgetnista Blog, and co-hosts a top rated and award-winning financial podcast, Brown Ambition.

Today, Tiffany continues to break down barriers. She is the first (solo) Black woman to grace the cover of Money Magazine and a NAACP Image Award Nominee for Outstanding Social Media Personality.

The Budgetnista and her financial advice have been featured on Good Morning America, the TODAY show, PBS, TIME, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, ESSENCE Magazine, FORBES, Fox Business, MSNBC, CNN/HLN. She is also the featured financial expert for the popular daytime talk show, The Real.
